The company "CNB Distribution" was founded in 1979 in the village of Glafkis in the city of Xanthi, as a wholesale company of food and non-food products. In 1999 the headquarters were moved to the Industrial Area of Xanthi, where the main facility is located. In the same year, the production of its own "Brand Name" product "Coffee Thrace" with the well-known varieties, Arabica Brazil coffee and Canephora India or Robusta coffee were added to the company's activities. Also, in 1999, the import of various products began, such as confectionery, detergents, personal hygiene items, beverages, instant coffee, etc. from countries inside and outside the EU. In 2011 the import of raw coffee, Arabica and Robusta and the import of Ceylon tea from the well-known company Finlay's COLOMBO PLC began.
